TERMS OF SERVICE AND EXPERIENCE COMMITMENT

Paradise Drive — Lençóis Maranhenses
Current version effective as of: September 22, 2026

These Terms establish the conditions for contracting tourism services, tours, transfers, experiences, and travel planning offered by Paradise Drive.

By booking any service, the client declares that they have read, understood, and agreed to these conditions.

1. OUR COMMITMENT

A Paradise Drive trabalha para oferecer uma experiência organizada, segura, pontual e cuidadosamente planejada nos Lençóis Maranhenses e demais destinos contratados.

Our commitment is to deliver exactly the level of service contracted, respecting the schedules, itineraries, vehicles, partners, and conditions previously established.

We also believe that a good experience depends on clarity.

For this reason, each service category has a specific level of flexibility, customization, and availability. The client is free to choose the format that best corresponds to their needs.

2. EACH SERVICE FORMAT HAS A DIFFERENT PURPOSE

Our prices do not represent transportation or travel alone.

They also take into account planning, team availability, logistical organization, customer service, guiding, operational responsibility, time reserved for the group, and the ability to handle unforeseen circumstances.

For this reason, services offering greater flexibility have different prices.

2.1. 2.1. Commercial Line – Shared Tours

Designed for clients who wish to experience the Lençóis Maranhenses at a lower cost.

In this category, tours are shared and follow previously established itineraries, schedules, pickup points, and programming.

The lower price of this category depends precisely on standardization and the absence of customization.

The following are not included free of charge:

  • schedule changes;

  • itinerary changes;

  • additional stops or experiences;

  • individual changes to pickup or drop-off locations;

  • extended waiting time due to client delays;

  • reorganization of the schedule at the client’s request;

  • exclusive availability of a vehicle, driver, or guide.

When a request goes beyond the characteristics of the contracted product, a new service proposal may be provided.

2.2. 2.2. Private Line

In the private category, the vehicle and team are exclusively dedicated to the contracted group during the established period.

The itinerary, schedules, and experiences are defined in advance with the client.

This category offers greater comfort, privacy, and customization, but it does not mean unlimited availability for last-minute changes.

Significant changes requested after the itinerary has been confirmed may result in additional costs or depend on operational availability.

2.3. 2.3. Flexible Private Line

The flexible category was created for groups that want greater freedom during their trip.

In this format, Paradise Drive reserves greater operational capacity for changes, reorganizations, and requests made during the experience.

The following may be considered, subject to availability and feasibility:

  • itinerary changes;

  • schedule changes;

  • inclusion or replacement of experiences;

  • private boat arrangements;

  • floating experiences;

  • changes to the planned schedule;

  • other customized requests.

Flexibility does not mean that every request will necessarily be possible.

Changes depend on factors such as the availability of vehicles, boats, guides, attractions, weather conditions, tides, safety, opening hours, and other local circumstances.

When third-party costs are involved, they may be charged separately or incorporated into a new proposal, as communicated to the client.

3. PRICE AND SERVICE SCOPE

The contracted price corresponds to the service described in the proposal, quotation, sales page, or confirmation sent to the client.

Additional services, substantial changes, or requests that modify the originally contracted scope, when not covered by previously purchased flexibility, may result in additional charges.

The fact that Paradise Drive is able to accommodate a particular change does not mean that the change is included free of charge in the original service.

Likewise, an exceptional accommodation previously provided does not constitute an obligation to repeat it in future bookings.

4. SCHEDULES AND PUNCTUALITY

Punctuality is essential to the operation of tourism services.

The client must be ready at the previously communicated location and time.

Delays may result in missed schedules, connections, boats, attractions, or stages of the itinerary.

For shared services, one client’s delay should not negatively affect the other passengers. For this reason, the vehicle may continue according to the previously established schedule.

For private services, delays may reduce the time available for the itinerary and, depending on the circumstances, result in additional waiting charges or require the schedule to be reorganized.

When waiting is caused by the client, it will not automatically be considered a failure on the part of Paradise Drive.

In the event of a delay in the return time:

The contracting client must be ready for the return at the time previously established for the end of the tour.

After a 15 (fifteen) minute grace period, transportation may proceed according to the scheduled program, and the contracting client will be responsible for arranging and paying for their own return.

If, exceptionally, the group or the team agrees to wait for the client after the grace period, an additional waiting and schedule-change fee of US$80 will apply, without prejudice to any additional costs resulting from the delay.

The 15-minute grace period does not constitute a guarantee that the group or team will wait. Continuing the service after this period will depend on operational feasibility and the team’s agreement.

5. CHANGES REQUESTED BY THE CLIENT

Requests made after the service has been confirmed will be evaluated according to availability.

Simple changes may be made, when operationally feasible, upon payment of an additional US$40, provided that they do not compromise the schedule, team availability, or other contracted services.
However, changes that require:

  • a different vehicle;

  • a different driver;

  • a different guide;

  • rescheduling of partners;

  • cancellation or new bookings;

  • changes to third-party schedules;

  • additional transportation;

  • extended waiting time;

  • significant itinerary changes;

may result in additional charges.

The principle is simple: the client should not be charged for a cost that would not exist if the original schedule were maintained.

6. EXPERIENCES AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Some experiences depend on independent companies, communities, guides, boats, vehicles, restaurants, attractions, or other suppliers.

Paradise Drive coordinates and contracts these services according to the purchased package, but does not have complete control over factors outside its own operation.

Changes resulting from weather, natural conditions, tides, safety concerns, decisions by authorities, third-party unavailability, or other factors beyond Paradise Drive’s control may require the replacement, rescheduling, or cancellation of a particular activity.

Whenever possible, a compatible alternative will be offered.

7. NATURAL CONDITIONS AND SAFETY

The Lençóis Maranhenses is a natural environment subject to conditions that can change rapidly.

Weather, rain, wind, tides, water levels in the lagoons, road conditions, sand, access to attractions, and other natural factors may affect the schedule.

The safety of clients, staff, and partners will take precedence over the execution of any itinerary.

Paradise Drive may modify or interrupt an activity whenever there is a significant safety risk or operational impossibility.

8. BOOKING AND PAYMENT

A booking will only be considered confirmed after payment and express confirmation by Paradise Drive.

Payment of the booking constitutes acceptance of these Terms and of the contracted itinerary.

Specific conditions regarding deposits, full payment, installments, or payment deadlines will be communicated at the time of booking.

Paradise Drive may not reserve a vehicle, guide, boat, accommodation, or other third-party service before the required financial confirmation has been received.

9. CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING

Specific cancellation and rescheduling conditions will be communicated in the proposal or booking confirmation, in accordance with applicable law.

Cancellations or changes requested by the client may result in costs when services have already been booked, schedules blocked, or third-party payments made.

Requests made with little advance notice may not allow the full recovery of amounts already paid to suppliers.

When rescheduling is possible, it will depend on the availability of the operation and the partners involved.

10. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

The client is responsible for providing accurate information regarding:

  • number of passengers;

  • names;

  • arrival and departure times;

  • accommodation;

  • contact information;

  • relevant restrictions;

  • specific needs communicated in advance.

Incorrect or late information that results in additional costs or operational changes may result in additional charges.

The client must also comply with safety instructions provided by the team.

11. COMMUNICATION AND CONFIRMATION

Important information regarding the booking may be sent via WhatsApp, email, or another communication channel provided by the client.

The client is responsible for monitoring communications related to their booking.

Changes to the itinerary will only be considered confirmed when communicated or approved by Paradise Drive.

Informal conversations, suggestions, or possibilities discussed during the booking process do not constitute contractual changes until they have been confirmed.

12. WHAT IT MEANS TO BOOK A FLEXIBLE EXPERIENCE

Paradise Drive understands that some clients simply want to follow an organized itinerary.

Others want the freedom to make decisions during their trip.

These are different needs and therefore have different prices.

Clients who wish to frequently change their schedule, request last-minute solutions, or keep a vehicle and team available for spontaneous decisions should book the service category that corresponds to this level of flexibility.

Flexibility is a service.

It involves the availability of people, vehicles, partners, time, and operational capacity.

Therefore, when purchased, it is compensated as part of the experience.

13. OUR COMMITMENT TO TRANSPARENCY

We do not promise that no unforeseen circumstances will occur.

We promise to work to manage unforeseen circumstances professionally.

When a problem is our responsibility, we will seek to resolve it.

When a problem results from a third party, natural conditions, client delay, or another external factor, we will work to find the best possible alternative under the circumstances.

Our objective is for the client to know, before booking, exactly what they are purchasing.

14. SERVICE STANDARD

Paradise Drive does not operate under the logic of turning every booking into a permanent negotiation.

The contracted price corresponds to the product and level of service selected.

Special requests may be accommodated whenever they are feasible and compatible with the contracted service category.

When a particular request represents an additional service, its corresponding price will be communicated before it is carried out.

This allows the client to consciously choose between maintaining the original plan or purchasing an additional solution.

15. ACCEPTANCE

By making a booking, the client declares that:

  1. they have received sufficient information about the contracted service;

  2. they understand the service category selected;

  3. they are aware of the differences between commercial, private, and flexible services;

  4. they understand that changes and special requests may generate additional costs;

  5. they agree to respect schedules, safety instructions, and previously established conditions;

  6. they agree to these Terms of Service and Experience Commitment.
